| Jim Pshock is a leader known for cutting-edge innovation in the healthcare sector. Jim has developed a comprehensive and unique expertise in the regulations related to governing wellness programs and the practical application of incentives to improve employee health. He frequently presents to regional and national audiences, including human resource professionals, occupational health professionals and insurance industry associations.
Jim began his career in 1989 with Capitol American Life Insurance Company, a national provider of supplemental health insurance that was later acquired by Conseco Inc.
In 1997, Jim joined one of the nation’s premier third-party administrators, North American Benefits, where he held senior management positions in operations, IT and account management. During this time, Jim also served as president of a non-profit association of nationwide TPAs that seek to enhance the overall industry and their individual businesses through advanced technology.
Since 2004, Jim has served as executive vice president of BeniComp Advantage Inc. which invented the first program to use a supplemental insurance policy as a way to motivate healthy lifestyles. Under his leadership, the company has experienced a 300% annual sales growth. This success is due largely to a strong nationwide distribution channel that includes alliances with United HealthCare, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota and other renowned companies, as well as 400+ independent brokers and consultants and several third-party-administrators. Jim oversees all sales, operations, IT, account management and vendor relations for BeniComp Advantage.
Jim resides near Cleveland, Ohio with his wife and four children.
